One night before dinner Patrick was playing Donkey Kong with Brayden. We sat down to the table and Brayden said the prayer.
The first thing he said was
"Thank you that Daddy could shoot the monster"
"Amen"

Brayden comes in our room in the mroning and first thing he wants to watch TV in our bed. I have made a new rule no watching tv until 7.
He comes in the room around 6:45 on morning. I told him no tv until the clock said 7. for the next 15 minutes every minute when the clock would change he would wake me up and ask
"that a 7?"

Brayden is an early riser. Sometimes very early. When he comes in and asked if he can get up, I tell him that it is still night time because the sun is still sleeping.
One day on the way home from church one day Brayden was telling me about his picture.
He told it had Jesus and this is where Jesus wakes up the sun.
They had a lesson on the creation.

Momma Peas!
I was shopping in Burley with Brayden and Whitney (by myself). I really try not to go without someone else because the kids are not good shoppers. They were extremely good this day. So while we were waiting for my mom to finish I told Brayden we could go look at the toys because he was a good boy. He found a truck and trailer that he loved. We got doing other things and I forgot he had it in the basket. When we got to the check out stand I noticed it and was going to put it back. He grabbed it in his arms and put his puppy dog face on. "Mine, peas momma, peas!" He has never said please before...... my heart melted and I suckered in and now has a new truck! (He learned quick how to melt my heart)

Counting
Since Brayden doesn't say many words yet... one word has multiple meanings. Like 'blue' is a blue popsicle, blue car, or anything else that is colored blue. (Can you see why it gets frustrating)
Lately, to keep Brayden happy on car rides, we have started to count the semi trucks. Because he can't say 'one, two, three' he says "E, O, O, E" and counts with his fingers. Once he starts talking more, I've never going to be able to get him to stop.
